Off to save the world and all households from their candy supplies!
My kids could not get their Halloween costumes on fast enough!
"We're superheroes!"
Felicity and her younger brother, Todd, were out the door with me in tow. They took me on a two-hour hike until Todd sat down with a sour look on his face.
"My foot has a boo-boo," Todd exclaimed. "Can I take off sissy's shoes?"
I was happy for the finish line of trick-or-treating but realized Todd had just gotten his first blister. He was wearing his sister's hand-me-down boots.
More candy couldn't get that child walking again!

Kids are amazing creatures. Halloween frees their imaginations and they become the superheroes they were meant to be until a snafu in the physical world takes over. So much for tight boots! It was good while it lasted! I can only smile when I think...
